Not one leak and runs very strong! 		Enno lives in Holland and owns this handsome M1M. The Netherlands seems to have the world's second highest CJ population density—right behind China!

			The paint is very good and bright. It is the first time that we ordered an OHV engine it looks and roars nice!
			We love our supplier because time after time his quality improves. Our warehouse is full of motorcycles. We don´t know were to put the next 12 sets arriving in July!

	From James McCanless in Texas, this 1937 R12 with an M1 engine! "It has a Russian telescopic front end, Dnepr gearbox with reverse, CJ bars, levers and throttle, and it will have a Russian sidecar. I'm currently fabricating a plate for the the final drive.
	(Gonna be using a CJ driveshaft.) Jim Bryant helped on engine/parts. Bill from Red October helped with a reverse military transmission that I bolted to the M1 engine. I like CJU. I've made some new friends and recognized old ones like my ol' buddy Jay Williams. CJs are neat bikes. I don't think there's too many in Texas."
	The third picture shows James's Red October Dnepr and a Frank's Classic Sidecars T-shirt.
	This bike is owned by someone known only as bmw1224 who lives somewhere in China.
	He sent these pictures but no information.
	As you can see it's a 6V machine with a pre-war BMW-style taillight assembly.
	The sidecar retains its original CJ750 swoosh emblem and the headlamp bezel has no visor suggesting that it's an older machine.
	According to Blaine (above) the license plate is from Inner Mongolia.
	It's Don Chapton's fleet—a CNAMC CJ6A and the M1 he bought recently. Don says the bike was a good value but needs lots of attention to bring it up to snuff.
	Meanwhile, here's a peek at the instruments inside the CJ6A. Looks daunting, doesn't it?
	These instruments are marked in English which must make Don's task of flying it a bit less challenging. You really have to see one of these planes to fully appreciate how cool they are—especially in the air.
	Don hopes to redo the cockpit and repaint the plane over the upcoming winter. He'll also be disassembling the bike for a thorough re-re-rebuild. I'll be looking forward to seeing the results on both!
	Pieter de Haan lives in the Netherlands and has owned his Chang for two years. I won't even try to guess what's happening in this shot...
	Dariusz Wiecha sent these images of his friend Tim Miller's "plastic" Chang. It's really wild seeing that flattie on an otherwise modern looking bike.
	In between the carburetors at the cylinder connection is sort of a balance tube that makes the carbs act as a single unit. Tim says it's very effective.
	No plunger frame on this bike either. In fact it looks like the engine and gearbox would be the only major components common to our bikes. There can't be very many of these in Britain where Tim lives.
	Here we can see a few odds and ends that might interchange with a traditional CJ—like pegs and pedals, for example.
	That's a thoroughly modern looking final drive. Check out that cast rim.
	This Nanchang CJ6A was at an air show in Geneseo, NY on July 10. Unfortunately, none of the detail pictures I made inside the cockpit got recorded. Too bad. You guys would have loved the instruments.
	Neat plane. It's a copy of the Russian Yak-18A. This one was built in 1973. That's a variable pitch prop, by the way.
	It's no secret that I have a thing about number tags. This beauty is on the nose gear.
	And each of the wing gear has one of these babies.
	I don't think this was installed by CNAMC but it's still pretty interesting. It's a build tag mounted on the port side below the tail.
	This little fella is mounted on one of the engine cylinders. The engine in this plane had been replaced with a newer Chinese copy of a Yak power plant.
	Those who follow the CJE message board know that Don Chapton is looking to buy a CJ. But in one sense, he already has one. This is how his Nanchang looked when Don first got it.
	Don says "it was a lot of fun to build and it is a great flying airplane." I think it's just plain awesome.
	Ken Wells lives in the UK and owns this M1M sporting PLA Air Force markings. Say, what's that parked behind it?
	Oh, that's just his other Chang, a Nanchang CJ6A. Whoa! How'd you like to go for a spin in that?
	Another fine product from the China Nanchang Aircraft Manufacturing Company. How can anybody not LOVE this stuff?!

	This gorgeous 1996 CJ750 belongs to Pieter de Haan of Hardenberg, Netherlands. Nice!
	Introducing Angela Struyk enjoying some ice cream aboard the Dragon Lady, her husband Leo's bike. The Struyks, who live in Shanghai, were out riding on an Island off the Shanghai coast on this occasion.
	RLI had some great looking bikes. Unfortunately, they recently went off line. I regret not having downloaded some of the images while they were available. This is their Vikinger Classic M1 model, minus taillight.
	Another RLI M1, also minus the taillight. Notice the toolbox and R71 style fender braces. There wasn't much supporting that rear fender, though. RLI called their CJ business Vintage Sidecar Cruisers. They had a yellow bike on their site with a Model A style taillight which provided the inspiration for my bike.
	From Boon in China: This photo was in the latest edition of Far Eastern Economic Review. The guy is a hotel boss in Shanghai and that's a pretty nice looking red CJ.  It was built by Danny Woody.
	Tyler Mingst of California owns this excellent M1M. He has another CJ besides this one.
	The red stars on the gas tank were Tyler's idea.

	This is it, guys, Chang Jiang Mecca. Yes, that's right—Nanchang. Tyler sent this image taken during a visit to the holiest city where he visited...

	What a rare treat for a westerner. And look at all those bikes!
	Look at this fine M1M, owned by Tim Baitson of West Yorkshire, UK.
	Tim has done quite a bit of work on this bike—lowering the front mud guard, polishing the heads, fitting new tires, adding a deep sump, replacing the taillight, etc.
	Tim has also added some BMW items which—you have to admit—look right at home on this machine.
	Those polished heads really do stand out, especially on a black bike.

	It could definitely pass for a '38.
	We don't see very many solo Changs. This one looks gorgeous.
	Ronald Smith of Montréal owns this CJ modified to resemble a Soviet M72. Ronald also owns a couple Russian bikes.
